Allowed to make a lot of changes, including chang- ing the name from Foreign Auto Breakers to FAB and focusing specifically on BMW products; in 4 years Jason turned the company around and the then owner gave him 50% of the shares and went off to run a sister com- pany leaving Jason in permanent charge. In 2001 FAB became a limited company and Jason handed shares to some of his most loyal staff who are still sharehold- ers, directors, and work inside the business today. The team continued to develop the business; in 2003 they moved into their current site in Cinderford, Gloucestershire and their continued growth has seen turnover increase by over 300% since. Having excelled as a salesman, Jason decided that he needed a drastic change of focus so in 1994 he joined FAB on a zero pay contract – he had to earn money for the busi- ness before getting any salary.
