BASEL As of October 1, 2019, the nautical top management has been reinforced with an additional, proven expert.
Roman Cangar will take over the overall responsibility for the nautical department together with André van Olderen. With this step, the company intends to further consolidate its leading position as a nautical service provider and competence platform and to proactively
meet the challenges of the market. In this dual leadership, André van Olderen will perform the external functions with the nautical directors and corporate captains. The focus is on caring for the nautical crew, recruiting new employees, as well as training and safety.
Roman Roman Cangar will be responsible for the internal tasks, including the central
itinerary management, crew planning, nautical budgeting, plus the management of the Operation Center. For the past seven years, Roman Cangar has been Director of Operations for the river cruise fleet of Vantage de Luxe Travel, Boston.
