Yabuli, China Snowy Mecca. In 1897,
during the
construction of the China-Eastern Railway, patches of apple trees were discovered, so the place was named “Yabloni” in Russian, which means apple orchard, transliterated as “Yabuli”. This name has been used to this day. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces and the later novel “Lin Hai Xue Yuan” left many stories and legends here.
