Receptor Summary 75588 Channel

Approximately north-north-west to south-south-east trending cut and fill feature cut into WK, generally well- defined, low relief basal reflector with single phase of acoustically unstructured fill. Appears as a channel on some survey lines but more as a layer on others, generally towards its northern end. Possible channel feature filled with BNB sediments. Depth Range: 0.8 to 11.7m BSB.

75589 Channel

North-north-west to south-south-east trending cut and fill feature cut into WK, single phase of acoustically unstructured fill with generally well-defined basal reflector (though feature is uncertain on some survey lines). Possible remnant of an eroded fluvial system though date is uncertain - Could be Devensian (BNB) or Post- Devensian. Depth Range: 0.7 to 10.4m BSB.

75592 Channel

Poorly defined, approximately north-north-east to south-south-west trending channel feature cut into WK. Basal reflector often poorly defined, single phase of fill characterised by faint sub-parallel internal reflectors. Appears as a channel on some survey lines, and as a layer on others. Possible channel feature filled with BNB sediment. Depth Range: 1.4 to 15.1m BSB.

75594 Channel 75597 Channel

Generally poorly defined approximately north-north-east to south-south-west trending channel feature cut into WK. Single phase of acoustically chaotic / unstructured fill. Possible channel feature filled with BNB sediment. Depth Range: 0.4 to 13.4m BSB.

Small but well defined channel feature cut into BNB. Single phase of acoustically transparent / unstructured fill. Basal reflector is relatively high in amplitude, suggesting a possible organic rich layer. Possible Post-Devensian fluvial channel, possibly original connected to similar feature 75598. Depth Range: 0.7 to 8.1m BSB.
