MOTIVATION

F. MY MENTAL GOALS 1. My memory is excellent! I can pull up just the right words for all my communication.

2. I am especially skilled at remem- bering client names and details. I am always careful to repeat their names back to them very early in the conversation to lock them into my memory.

3. I always choose thoughts that are positive and will support my sales success.

4. I am very aware that my thoughts will determine my daily attitude and success.

5. I make conscious choices throughout the day about what I will dwell on and hold as my dominant thought.

G. MY RELAXATION GOALS 1. I can easily change my thoughts by using positive self-talk state- ments on a routine basis.

2. When things start to close in on me, I simply take a long, deep breath and calmly address one thing at a time. I use the statement: “I am relaxed and in control. I am relaxed and in control...”

3. I often take a five-minute time-out

period – especially when I feel the most pressure from external events. This time-out slows my thoughts and replenishes my energy.

4. I no longer sacrifice my health for my success.

5. I am determined to be both suc- cessful and healthy. 
