WTM LONDON LEADERS’ LUNCH
A leading MEP and former Prime Minister of Belgium, Guy Verhofstadt, is the keynote speaker at the exclusive WTM Leaders’ Lunch on the fi rst day of WTM London 2017. The Belgian MEP was Prime Minister of Belgium from 1999 until 2008, and is now leader of the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) in the European Parliament. A regular voice in media across Europe, Guy is the author various books on Europe. The WTM Leaders’ Lunch is a
prestigious invitation-only networking event with 200 pre-eminent heads of commercial travel organisations. INVITE ONLY.
AVIATION PROGRAMME
WTM London’s aviation programme once again brings together leading industry fi gures as airline industry consultant John Strickland provides a snapshot of how the year has shaped
up and what’s coming up on the industry’s horizon. This year Skuli Mogensen, CEO and founder of WOW, explains how he grew his low-cost Icelandic airline, with social media, digital and Mogensen’s tech knowledge being key to its success. In the second session, John Strickland talks to Alex Cruz, CEO of British Airways: an airline boss who has had his hands full this year with some pretty thorny issues.
