mesoestetic unveil their new range of treatments that provide multifactorial control for acne-prone skin

M

ESOESTETIC PHARMA GROUP is well known for its continuous investment in R&D+i, which enable it to

provide new and efficient solutions to meet patients’ needs, particularly through projects for preventing and treating dermatological conditions. As a result of this firm commitment, mesoestetic Pharma Group has conceived an innovative professional method for the topical treatment of acne-prone and seborrhoeic skin. A new and extended product line developed in collaboration with a leading group of dermatologists that participated in the selection of active substances, design and validation of application guidelines, and experimental evaluation of the formulations.

It has been a successful

joint project that guarantees the highest efficacy, safety and quality of the products.

It is the first line to emerge from this

promising initiative that will be renewed in the future to develop a full range of dermatological treatments.

A multifactorial approach Patients with acne have a clear unmet need. The hormonal origin and multifactorial aetiological causes of the condition hinder optimal control of its signs and symptoms. That is why a multifocal approach is considered essential to the success of the treatment. The new mesoestetic acne method combines a treatment exclusively for medical use to be applied at the consultation: acnelan, with a complete line of home maintenance products. At the heart of the product line

formulation, lies the innovative m.acne complex™, a unique combination of active substances selected specifically for their complementary ability to address the numerous factors that affect acne-prone and seborrhoeic skins. The formula contains salicylic acid, mandelic acid and sodium lepargilate, which when combined with exclusive bexaretinyl complex have a unique, synergistic effect that allows deep cleansing and integral renewal of acne-prone and seborrhoeic skin. The result of its effects include:

5A-reductase inhibition: this reduces levels of the enzyme involved in the excess androgen that causes acne

Unblocking the pilosebaceous canal: encourages keratolysis of the skin’s abnormally thick corneocyte layer and unblocks skin pores

Decreases sebum production: reduces the secretory activity of sebaceous glands

Control of bacterial proliferation: inhibits growth and reproduction of the strains making up the skin flora, which may infect blocked pilosebaceous canals

Less redness and less epidermal swelling: soothes and reduces the intensity of the inflammatory process of acne outbreaks

Lightens post-acneic hyper- pigmentation: improving the appearance of skin affected by hyperpigmentation after an acne outbreak.
