In this issue we publish the finalists for the 2017 Business Travel
Awards (p52), as we gear up for the big night on January 23. The excellent quality of submissions meant competition was very tough – so congratulations to all those who made the shortlist. Meanwhile, we’ve got a beady eye on the future: analysis of what 2017 will bring in terms of pricing and business travel trends (p56); plus we want to know who’s shaking up, influencing or disrupting business travel – so give us your nominations for the 2017 BBT Hotlist (see p9 for details). More forward-facing features include air travel disruptors (p62) and mobile travel trends (p66). And following great reader engagement at our recent BBT Forums (p20), next up on our events calendar is an ‘Audience with Uber’, giving travel buyers the opportunity to quiz senior Uber execs on any ground transport programme issues.
