Universal Helicopters Offers a New Free Heliwagon When Customer Buys New Robinson R44 0R R66
Universal Helicopters now includes a new 12 foot x 14 foot Heliwagon with every purchase of a Robinson R66 and R44.
The Robinson dealer announced the new offer at Heli-Expo 2016. “This offer is a one of a kind event, and everyone should take advantage of owning the most incredible, high quality product available for helicopter owners, stated Dr. Gordon Jiroux, president and CEO of Universal Helicopters.
The Heliwagon offers 360-degree walk-around visibility, with 100 percent positive control during aircraft movement on the ground. This helps to eliminate hangar rash, by allowing easy maneuvering in tight areas under the watchful eyes of the undistracted pilot or ground personnel. It also saves time and the need for back-and-forth trips to the hangar.
Pilots land on the platform, which has industrial-grade casters and self- locking drive wheels Therefore, you do not have to chalk the wheels or worry about any movement when landing or taking off.
The Heliwagon’s deck is coated with a thick, tough, durable, and non-skid polyurethane liner that is and other caustic chemicals.
Pilots or other staff can maneuver the platform from inside or outside the helicopter, using a remote control that operates at 2.4 gigahertz and has an operating range up to 500 feet.
Heliwagon President Brad Seibold stated, “For the customers, imagine it’s raining, or it’s cold and windy. You can actually load them in the helicopter and drive them to and from the launch area, with the loading and off-loading accomplished in the hangar. For really like is the ease and the safety aspects of always being able to set down on a platform into the wind.”
Unlike a tug-type platform, which requires the pilot to shut down or have ground personnel always available to reposition the platform to eliminate a crosswind set down,
