AW109 Trekker Helicopter Performs First Flight
Finmeccanica announced the maiden AW109 Trekker light twin-engine helicopter. A prototype aircraft took to Division’s Cascina Costa facility in Italy. The helicopter performed as included an assessment of its general handling and basic systems. Heli-One Introduces ‘Build-to-Spec’ Exchange Program
Heli-One recently announced its new ‘Build-to-Spec’ Exchange Program for engines and components. The ‘Build– to-Spec’ Program provides customers such as: hours of use, condition, lead time, and cost.
Exchanges allow operators to minimize aircraft downtime by having a serviceable engine or component ready for immediate installation. With the ‘Build-to-Spec’ Program, customers can further tailor exchange requirements to their time and cost-effective alternative to part replacement or the downtime associated with overhaul.
