DISTRICT 13 — EAST TEXAS Cattle Stolen Near Longview Airport Special Ranger Larry Hand reports the theft of 2 head


of cattle from a property south of Longview Airport in Rusk County. After the evening of Aug. 20 and before the morning of Aug. 21, someone cut a locked chain and allowed cattle from a pasture to scatter. When the cattle were collected, a black Angus-cross yearling bull and red crossbred year- ling heifer were missing. These unbranded, missing calves weighed between 600 to 650 pounds each. The branded adult cows were left behind. Anyone with information re- lated to this or any other cattle theft activity in the area are urged to call Hand at 903-592-5252.


DISTRICT 24 — GULF COAST Cows and Calves Missing in South Texas Special Ranger Tommy Charbula reports 12 head of


cattle missing from a property near El Campo in Wharton County some time after Aug. 15. The cattle are 6 Brahman cows branded with an S on the left hip and yellow ear tags; and 6 Braford calves with no markings. DISTRICT 30 — SOUTH TEXAS/GULF COAST Eleven Brangus Cows Missing in Far South Texas Special Ranger Steve Martin reports 11 head of cattle


missing from a pasture in San Patricio County. These regis- tered Brangus cows are 5 to 6 years old, heavy bred with no brands or marks. Ten are muley (hornless) and 1 has small tip horns. All the cows had ear tags of different colors with a 2-digit number. A $1,000 reward is being offered for in- formation leading to an arrest or conviction.
