Col. Bill Hale is the chief of the Law Enforcement Di- vision for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Con- servation. The department’s law enforcement division is responsible for upholding the laws and regulations that protect Oklahoma’s wildlife resources. The chief of law enforcement oversees the division, the largest of the department’s 5 divisions with a workforce of about 120. The division consists of game wardens, game warden supervisors and eight district chiefs. Central offi ce staff includes the chief and assistant chief, a training coordi- nator and a secretary.
Myriah Johnson is an agricultural economics consul- tant at The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation Agricul- tural Division. Johnson will assist agricultural producers and land stewards by providing education and insight on the numerous fi nancial decisions in agriculture. She received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural econom- ics from Oklahoma State University and her master’s degree in agricultural economics and doctoral degree in animal science from Texas A&M University. Johnson grew up in Perry, Oklahoma, on a wheat, stocker and cow-calf operation.
Dr. Susan Rollo is Texas’ state epidemiologist, accord- ing to the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC).
Rollo earned her Bachelor and Master of Science de- grees in zoology and biology, respectively, at Texas Tech University. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and later, a Ph.D. in biomedical science (epidemiology). She began her career in a companion animal prac-
tice before accepting a job as an epidemiologist for the Beaumont Public Health Department. While working on her Ph.D., she worked for Texas A&M College of Vet- erinary Medicine as program coordinator and research associate for the Masters of Veterinary Public Health program. In 2010, Rollo accepted a position at the De- partment of State Health Services in Houston where she served as the Zoonosis Control Veterinarian. Rollo joined TAHC as a fi eld epidemiologist in 2014.
