NEW TROJAN® RANGE ADDS STYLE AND COLOUR TO TRADITONAL SAFETY FOOTWEAR
UK safety company Arco have put style on a par with safety with the introduction of a new range of colourful safety boots and shoes to the ever popular TROJAN® brand. UK wearers are noticeably more demanding of their boots’ appearance and with the range now available in a choice of colours, there is no compromise between being safe and looking good.
Designed to meet exacting standards, Arco is putting its toughest and brightest foot forward with the new coloured footwear. The range incorporates comfort, contemporary style and reliable safety features. The boots and shoes have been extensively tested in Arco’s laboratories to ensure they meet safety standards and protect those working in heavy industrial environments.
SAFETY CLOUD HELPS CITYPOINT
WORK SMARTER The building management team at CityPoint, one of London’s tallest and most recognisable buildings, is taking a more proactive approach to its health and safety, using the Safety Cloud online management system from Southalls.
The 120 metre CityPoint building houses 30 businesses over 36 floors, as well as shops and restaurants, and is visited by over 3,500 people each day.
With 80 facilities management staff employed at CityPoint and 1,600 contractors working on the building each month, Safety Cloud is initially being implemented to improve the management of employee and contractor records, and delivery of staff training. The system will provide access to 40 e-learning training modules and will help the management team keep track of personnel documentation.
