COMPICWEB IDENTILAM

Whether your offices are based locally or on the other side of the world, managing a staff ID card database for a company with multiple locations is a challenge regularly faced.

Often companies have to wait until employees visit a regional or head office before they can issue a starter or replacement ID card. This is where ComPicWeb comes in.

Cloud-based ID card system ComPicWeb is an online solution from IDentilam, available as part of a card bureau service or hosted in- house. ComPicWeb enables employees to register for their ID cards online through a hosted URL, which can be done from anywhere in the world with internet access.

Once an employee has registered for their ID card online and provided the relevant information, their application is then sent to the selected line manager to either approve or deny. This can be separated into different divisions so that this can be managed by regional managers, and printed on-site.

The registered employee’s details are stored on the secure designated database for chosen individuals within the company to have access rights to. Access rights can be altered as much as is required to keep the database secure and confidential. Reports can also be created online to keep a record of things such as the date an ID card was printed, the number of cards issued and when the cards are due for renewal, so that future badge printing is quick and easy.

DETECTAGAS® GAS SAFE EUROPE

Changes to the law now make it mandatory for all private sector landlords to install working and regularly tested smoke and CO alarms in all rented properties.

Landlords are required to check and provide evidence to local government officials that alarms are in working order at the start of all new tenancies.

Detectagas CO Alarm Test Kit was born as a universal test kit for use with all domestic CO alarms. Putting a calibrated test gas in an aerosol can was unique and the patented kit, which comes in the lid of every can makes it possible to deliver a controlled and sufficient amount of CO to test the sensor effectively without risk of harm.

Detectagas, which has gone on to win multiple awards, checks the battery and sensor in alarms by injecting a specific and safe level of test gas into a specially designed transparent cover that is easily fitted, just for the purpose of the test, over the alarm. The trigger point for a European alarm is 300ppm within three minutes. The test response time is typically less than two minutes after which, on successful completion, the alarm is easily reset. There are 11 tests in one canister of Detectagas, which cost the equivalent of £2 each. Each Dectecatgas kit comes with 11 test record stickers that provide evidence to inspectors that the alarm has been tested. Test Certificate pads are available.
