EVOS VALVE LINDE GASES

The EVOS™ valve range from Linde Gases represents a significant leap from standard gas industry valves - not only in its striking, state-of-the-art ergonomic design - but also in terms of safety and productivity benefits delivered.

EVOS™ employs a uniquely designed, quick-action lever in place of

the more traditional hand-wheel mechanism for opening and closing the valve. This

innovative open/close functionality

ensures easy opening to improve efficiency, fast closing in case of emergency and, as an extra safety feature, the ability to physically see at a distance whether the valve is open or closed.

The highly innovative and multi-patent pending EVOS™ has undergone extensive international, end-user research and, in a departure from traditional efforts in gas industry hardware design, Linde elected to collaborate with more leading-edge product designers in order to deliver the best user experience in terms of functionality, technical advancement and ergonomic design.

The EVOS™ design also incorporates a safety ‘interlock’ button to mitigate the risk of the valve being opened accidentally; optimal grip design for ease of lifting and designed to ensure the cylinder can be easily and safely lifted via crane to heights. The valve also has an integrated real-time content gauge to allow users to see the amount of gas left at a glance, and is capable of operating 300 bar working pressure across multiple gas types – significantly more than standard industry valves.

FC90 FAST CHILL ANDREWS SYKES

When in-house cooling plant is taken offline for routine maintenance or emergency repair, chiller hire is often the only option available to preserve the quality of stored chilled food. The Fast Chill range was introduced for such applications.

The great appeal is a simple plug and play installation concept, once on-site the chiller will be ready to run in minutes. A powerful fan produces outstanding performance, delivering up to 10,000m3 cooled air flow with a capability down to -10o maintain local environments to within 0.5o

C, with an ability to C.

Unlike many conventional chillers, apart from a three-phase power supply, there is no requirement for additional services such as water fill or refrigeration connection.

Andrews Chiller Hire, part of the Andrews Sykes Group, has invested heavily to increase the number of FC90 to more than 50 units, and with 25 depots strategically positioned across the UK the company is confident of providing that essential rapid response - within four hours, anytime, any day.

The FC90 is a two-part system, the self-contained, split line fluid chiller incorporates compressors, evaporators and an external heat exchanger, each part supported in a sturdy crash frame that protects and helps positioning on-site.

These high-performance temporary FC90 chillers are ideal for applications such as large-volume air conditioning (planned or emergency), low-temperature production facilities and cold stores or food storage at temporary events.
