KEMPEROL KEMPER SYSTEM
Kemperol from Kemper System is a resin-based, fully reinforced roofing system that cures to form a permanently elastic, seamless membrane. It is UV stable and highly vapour permeable. Kemperol is extremely durable and tear-resistant. It has excellent crack bridging and thermal movement capabilities and can accommodate complex structural details and penetrations without the need for additional mechanical fixings.
Kemperol bonds directly to existing prepared roof substrates. A cold liquid-applied system installed in a single process, the Kemperol
liquid resin saturates a non-woven reinforcement
fleece and cures to form a tough, seamless membrane that cannot delaminate. The system is impervious to standing water and particularly suitable for over-laying mastic asphalt, bituminous sheet and single-ply membranes.
Kemperol 2K-PUR is the first solvent-free, odourless, wet-on-wet, fleece reinforced, cold liquid roofing and waterproofing system available in the UK. It is ideal for use on sustainability based projects or on sensitive occupied buildings where the strong odours and fumes from solvent-based products would be disruptive.
The polyester reinforcing fleece used in all our waterproofing systems contains up to 25% recycled material derived from plastic bottles.
Kemperol 2K-PUR ticks many of the sustainability boxes specifiers are looking for in modern construction projects and has been used in a variety of projects, from major pharmaceutical companies to public buildings.
LEONARDO FLUSHABLE TISSUE NORTHWOOD
The flushable tissue option within the Leonardo range has been designed to address two key problems in the cleaning and maintenance industry that result in extensive blockages and disruptive and expensive remedial work.
Firstly, there is the existence of antiquated sewage systems that occur in older buildings. The buildings, then refurbished, attract much higher washroom usage levels than originally envisaged.
As a result the whole system can become vulnerable at peak usage times. Non -functioning washrooms cause immense disruption to staff with hugely negative impacts on productivity and profitability. The introduction of Leonardo flushable tissue has resolved these problems, if not in entirety, then at least to acceptable levels.
The second cause of high levels of blockages is vandalism.
The idea that it is amusing to stuff hand towels into the toilet seems to transcend the generations, so schools, night clubs, and some pubs remain key victims of this anti-social behaviour.
The introduction of flushable tissue can diminish the problems so that they cease, at least for a while. The largely-volunteer work force at Nene Valley Railway, home of Thomas the Tank Engine, was particularly thrilled when Leonardo flushable tissue was introduced to counter the effects of thousands of excited children forgetting where hand towels are meant to be deposited and instead, putting them down the loo!
