After an overwhelming response to our first ever Tomorrow’s Care Awards, we can now officially announce our 2017 winners.
At the start of the year, we published our inaugural 2017 Tomorrow’s Care Awards Guide which revealed the top 25 products and services that have made their mark on the care industry over the past year. After months of anticipation and an overwhelming number of votes cast, I am now delighted to share the names of our top three winners. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted and for all your support over the past year.
LST RANGE Jaga Heating Products
In first place, we have Jaga with their Low Surface Temperature (LST) range of radiators.
The comprehensive range of high quality radiators offers a wide choice of safe, energy-efficient heating solutions for any application where children or vulnerable adults may be present.
They are all comprised of cool-to-touch casing, even at high flow temperatures. With Jaga’s range, the temperature never exceeds 430C, and therefore remains within the Building Regulations Approved Document M, NHS Estate Health Guidance Notes. Jaga’s LST radiators are also certified to EN 442 for their performance and quality. In comparison, standard radiators can reach a surface temperature of 75 degrees, which can cause partial thickness burns in one second and full thickness burns in less than 10 seconds. This aesthetically pleasing, strong casing also has rounded corners to minimise the risk of injury to occupants from accidental impact.
Jaga recommends LST radiators for use in locations such as care and nursing homes, educational buildings, retirement villages, social housing, healthcare centres and public buildings.
