NILFISK CONTINUE US EXPANSION WITH PRESSURE-PRO
ACQUISITION Nilfisk Group has acquired Pressure- Pro, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-pressure cleaners headquartered in Fort Pierce, Florida, USA. This acquisition further consolidates Nilfisk’s position in the US market for high-pressure washers following the acquisition of Hydro Tek, Inc. in November last year. Pressure-Pro has a particularly strong portfolio within cold-water pressure washers, and in combination the two acquisitions establish a significant US platform in high pressure cleaning equipment.
Speaking of the acquisition, Jeff Barna, President of Nilfisk-Americas, said: “The combination of these two pressure washer businesses will provide additional market access and a broader product range within the high pressure washer market. Together they will also drive front-end synergies by combining Pressure- Pro’s cold water and Eastern US strongholds with Hydro Tek’s hot water and Western US strongholds. We believe that the benefits of our newly combined organisation lie within sales growth and business expansion.”

Jan-Hein Hemke, Managing Director of Facilicom UK, explained: “The new business is part of the wider Facilicom group, but very much focused on developing business in Ireland. It is not a satellite office for Facilicom UK, it has its own company registration and employs local people. We’re very happy Facilicom is moving into this new marketplace.”
The Facilicom Services Group already employs over 30,000 people in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom, and has an annual turnover of £1billion.
roles and help to ensure the continued growth of Pressure-Pro. They will also assist in capturing the synergies with Hydro Tek and with Nilfisk in the US market and abroad.
Jonas Persson, President and CEO of Nilfisk Group, commenting on the acquisition, said: “Our Accelerate strategy contains several levers to ensure growth, one being to continuously look for opportunities to acquire leading manufacturers with solid market access. Uniting the Pressure-Pro and Hydro Tek acquisitions with Nilfisk’s product range and market reach will establish a strong position for Nilfisk in the high- pressure washer market, both in the US and throughout the Americas.”
Pressure-Pro is a well renowned and fast growing manufacturer of high- quality products with a wide offering including both cold and hot water pressure washers. The company had revenues in 2014 of $40m and consists of approximately 90 employees. Sales are driven across the country mainly through a strong distributor and dealer network.
Pressure-Pro, Inc. was founded in 1995, and has been built on the principles of excellent customer service, high quality products, and deep technical knowledge.
