NO HARSH LINES OR AWKWARD PAUSES WITH DISSIDENT 2.0

‘Dissident’ is so named because it challenges the conventional way of creating a floor-plane. It is non- conformist in nature, provocative and designed to push the boundaries of flooring design. With Milliken’s Dissident 2.0 carpet tiles a designer can choose to define spaces within a scheme by seamlessly transitioning from one colour or tone to the next.

In addition to the main ‘Dissident 2.0’ design, the collection also includes a companion accessory pattern tile: ‘Dissident 2.0 Transition’. The patterns are ingeniously designed to allow for a smoothly continuous transition from one colour to the next. In this way the floor can be brought to life and define zones. The imaginative use of Dissident 2.0 can create a journey across the floor-plane: from dark to light and from hue to hue, contrasting or complementing the other. The options are almost endless and give the designer the choice and freedom to delineate space without harsh lines or awkward pauses, as subtly or dramatically as required. And for when deadlines are tight and speed is critical Dissident 2.0 is available within 10 days as part of Milliken’s new ‘Quick Ship’ programme.

From an environmental perspective Dissident 2.0 has unbeatable credentials: produced using high- performance ECONYL®

yarn with

100% regenerated Nylon. Offering the same strength and lifecycle as fibre crafted from virgin polymer, ECONYL fibre is made from a minimum of 50% pre-consumer and 50% post-consumer content reducing resource consumption and waste. Milliken’s Comfort Plus2®

cushion

backing system with 90% recycled polyurethane is standard on Dissident 2.0. Milliken cushion backing protects the carpet face from wear and can extend the carpet’s life by up to 40%.

In addition to environmental benefits, Comfort Plus2 enhances safety, improves appearance retention, and offers superior acoustics, ergonomics and underfoot comfort. To further reduce environmental impact, Dissident 2.0 can be supplied with TractionBack® for adhesive free installation. Eliminating the need for adhesives, TractionBack®

improves indoor air

quality and reduces materials usage. www.millikencarpet.com
