FLOORING THAT WORKS HARD IN

YOUR LEISURE SPACE Through its collection of acoustic, safety and decorative sheet vinyl flooring, Itec Contract Floors can deliver performance and value in leisure environments of all types.

Enduring constant traffic and with the need to be easy to look after, flooring in leisure spaces is placed under high load; and so Itec’s Class 33 and Class 34 EN classifications and Hyperguard+ PUR wear layer will come as welcome news. Across all available décor styles, Itec floors provide excellent durability and scuff and dirt resistance, keeping locations looking new for longer.

David Bigland, Managing Director UK, Itec Contract Floors, said: “The Itec range focuses on delivering the ideal combination of value and performance across back and front of house applications.

“When using Itec, specifiers can be confident that the floors will not only look great, but will keep performing under intense use.”

With a large choice of decors across uni, mineral, wood, stone, tile and decorative effects, Itec Contract Floors is also in an ideal position to meet with the important aesthetic principles of spaces. From classic oak to the latest in architectural finishes, the depth allows the most specific of interior styles to be matched.

LANO CARPETS ENHANCES

SCALA APPEAL The addition of on-trend greys, yellows and greens, are all part of the revamp of one of Lano Carpets’ most popular ranges, Scala.

Comprising Scala Classic and Scala Plain, this collection has long been providing contractors and specifiers with high-quality, colourful broadloom carpet suitable for a variety of healthcare, education and leisure applications.

Now updated, the two styles share a colour bank of 12 different shades, so the ability to beautifully coordinate with one another remains, and each will look fantastic when used in connecting rooms as well as working equally well on their own.

Suitable for heavy contract locations, impervious-backed Scala is constructed from 100% Lanoset solution dyed 2-ply polypropylene in a 1160gm/m2

weight. Lanoset is

the fibre of choice in locations where carpet is subject to regular soiling and commercial cleaning. The numerous advantages include stain and soil-

resistance, enhanced texture and colourfastness and resistance to wear.

What’s more, the impervious backing used in Scala was specially developed for healthcare use, especially in nursing homes and hospitals.

I-Back is a contract-grade impervious gel backing that brings numerous benefits to the collection, including permanent resistance to spillages and moisture, quick drying time after cleaning, and permeability to fluids through the subfloor. When impervious backing is not required, Scala is also available on synthetic backing for orders over 500 square metres.

Often with expansive areas, leisure environments can also hugely benefit from Itec’s proprietary Invisiweld technology and four-metre width option. Eliminating the ugly join between vinyl, Invisiweld provides more realism and a seamless look while making a stronger joint less prone to failure. The wider four-metre width also reduces the number of seams required, creating a better overall finish.

The Itec Commercial Flooring Collection is stocked in depth at distributors throughout the UK, while the Itec Design Flooring Collection offers more design scope and can be ordered directly from Itec Contract Floors. For leisure spaces demanding performance from specifications, then Itec’s value makes it an essential addition to interiors of all spaces.

Birger Karlsson, UK Sales Director for Lano, said: “Scala has been one of Lano’s finest success stories.

“Introduced over ten years ago to fulfil the demands of a diverse array of commercial applications, the collection has thrived thanks to its perfect blend of looks, practicality and durability.

“Now, in order to broaden its appeal even further, we have updated the colour bank to serve customers looking for the latest in on-trend shades. These new options, combined with the benefits of Lanoset polypropylene fibre and I-Back impervious backing will ensure Scala remains at the forefront of healthcare, education and leisure specification for many years to come.”

To support the update, Scala Classic and Scala Plain can now be viewed in striking new point of sale.

The clean and contemporary new architect’s folder showcases all 24 decors across the two collections, and is introduced alongside matching sample sets, both of which are now available by contacting Lano Carpets.
