WORKING FROM A BLANK CANVAS
Milliken’s enhanced and refined Luxury Vinyl Tile range has been chosen for new business centre.
Milliken’s recently updated Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) range has been selected for a development at Worship Street, London EC2. It’s a creative and flexible working environment over four floors with design and living facilities, including a kitchenette and bathroom on each floor. The installation by architect G-PAD was completed last December and covers 8,000 square feet. A US tech business is already set to move in to one of the floors.
The internal team was responsible for specifying the interior products and finishes and after reviewing a number of different LVT offerings chose Milliken. The Sales and Operations Manager explains: “The Milliken sales service was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and guided us through what was available and the product attributes. Then having understood the product we were impressed with the superior quality and performance benefits the Milliken LVT could offer. The installation was trouble free and site visits and support was also excellent.”
The business centre selected Heritage Wood (colour HER218) for the desk spaces and Eero (colour EER108-215- 209) for the kitchen area. The designs lent themselves perfectly to the high quality and neutral ‘blank canvas’ feel the client was trying to capture. And they particularly appreciated the architectural graphics in the Eero design which they felt reflected the feel of their business.
Milliken’s Freelay product was chosen for its ease of installation and flexibility. Freelay LVT is particularly beneficial where regular access to underfloor facilities is needed, such as within commercial environments. It’s a highly durable product and easy to clean, so ideal for a busy office environment.

collections and enables a whole interior to be united with ease and seamlessly made part of an entire scheme. The LVT range, created using high-definition photo realistic imagery, replicates wood and stone and now also includes some new abstract designs. Within the glue- down Milliken LVT range there are three collections: Wood, Stone and Abstract.
The wood collection includes designs such as Aged Oak, Fine Line (with natural linear effects to capture the spirit of contemporary Scandinavian minimalism), Kokutan, and Rustic Pine. The stone designs include Serpeggiante (elegant Italian marble effect) and simply Stone.
Also available is a range of abstract designs including Eero (where underlying surfaces move forward as distressed architectural details) and PowerGrid (in which tight woven textures yield a bold geometry and create a powerful and high-impact design essential).
The Milliken LVT range is accredited with the highest physical performance classification: Class 34 Very Heavy Commercial Use and comes with a 12- year wear guarantee. Milliken’s multi- layered LVT provides excellent stain and abrasion resistance. The product boasts an impressive 0.7mm wear layer to reduce scuffs, stains, scratches and ensure unsurpassed performance. Milliken’s LVT range achieves CE mark safety categories for fire, static and slip. R10 and BS slip resist ratings - low to moderate in wet and dry.
Milliken Luxury Vinyl Tile provides an industry-leading sustainable solution for hard surface flooring. As a FloorScore certified product, Milliken LVT meets strict indoor air quality and volatile organic compound (VOC) emission criteria for LEED, BREEAM and other green building certifications.
