STOPGAP 1200 PRO F.BALL & CO LIMITED

Stopgap 1200 Pro is an industry-leading, minimum preparation, maximum performance smoothing underlayment, specially designed for use directly over old adhesive residues, including bitumen and carpet tile tackifiers. The high performance self-smoothing product provides flooring contactors with a professional, cost-effective solution to challenging floors, without the need for mechanical removal or priming.

Utilising the latest cement technology, the latex-free, no ammonia smoothing underlayment achieves fast setting and drying times for preparing sound internal subfloors. Stopgap 1200 Pro has a working time of 20 minutes, a walk-on time of just 60 minutes, and is ready to receive new floorcoverings from four hours.

The smoothing underlayment offers superior flow characteristics and can be used over a wide range of subfloor types including sand/cement screeds, concrete, granolithic paving and ceramic tiles, as well as under and over Stopgap waterproof surface membranes. It is also suitable for patch filling timber floors prior to overlaying with plywood. Furthermore, Stopgap 1200 Pro is low odour and protein-free making it ideally suited for use in clinical and biologically sensitive environments including hospitals, schools and laboratories.

Stopgap 1200 Pro has become one of the most popular floor preparation products on the market. The combination of high performance properties and reliability mean that contractors can use this product for almost any job and be confident that they will get the best possible results every time.
