Barony partnership talks

WHEATLEY Group – YourPlace’s parent company – is in talks to welcome a new partner. Barony Housing Association owns

around 300 homes and provides housing and related services in East Central Scotland. Barony also provides a wide range of

care and support services, particularly in Edinburgh, West Lothian, Fife and Falkirk. Wheatley and Barony are now looking closely at the benefits of joining forces and are keen to hear the views of customers. Barony and Wheatley, including

YourPlace, believe they can work together to further improve housing and care services in the communities they serve for the benefit of customers and service users.

The final plans will take into account customers’ views. The Scottish Housing Regulator, the Government and other stakeholders are being kept informed. Approval will be needed before Barony joins Wheatley Group. Want to ask a question or give

feedback? Email: consultation@ wheatley-group.com or call our consultation Freephone 0800 011 3816.

New cover offers peace of mind

HAVING building and contents insurance means you are always covered if the worst happens. Our building insurance deal with Ageas and our contents insurance with Aviva ends on 31 March 2016. We’re talking to a number of

different providers to find the most comprehensive cover which provides value-for-money for you. We’ll be in touch in the New Year when we have appointed new providers. You’ll receive information about

your new policy in March. This will include a new policy booklet as well as details about how to claim and premiums.
