Friday night reception crew for FWDC Recognized show
Our Recognized Dressage Show was held at Somervell
Expo in Glen Rose March 25 and 26. We had a very full sched- ule, over 200 rides! The show ran very smoothly, thanks to all our very efficient volunteers and show management. Our Friday night reception for competitors was all the talk the next day. We served scrumptious food amongst beautifully decorated tables and venue. We really had a wonderful group of volunteers who did a fantastic job! Our low cost clinic is coming up in May. This is something
we do for our members every year. A local professional donates her time and expertise to FWDC members for a full day of les- sons at a much reduced cost. Riders bring pot luck for lunch, Tri- cia and David Scott donate their beautiful facility Four Friends Farm in Valley View and our members show up and have a great time. Gretchen Aycock of Clear Creek Dressage is our clinician this year and has volunteered two days of lessons! This is a very popular event and always well attended and lots of fun. We will be holding our schooling show June 4th at Willow
Draw in Weatherford. Be watching our website for more infor- mation. “L” graduate Kristin Currie will be the judge and we will also offer gaited, eventing and Western dressage. The Fort Worth Dressage Club (FWDC) is a club devoted
to dressage and dressage activities for its members. We work throughout the year to provide educational opportunities and fun activities for our members.
FWDC holds
monthly meetings at Szechuan Chinese Restau- rant off Bryant Irving the 4th Monday of every month at 6:30PM. Every- one is welcome. FWDC’s member-
