among 6 recently awarded the Pres- ident’s Club of Distinction award at the APHA’s convention February 24-27 in Irving. Regional clubs were recognized for excellence in promoting the Paint Horse breed and serving members as well as their local communities.
The 2017 Arizona Sun Cir-
cuit, held March 4-12 in Scottsdale, paid off well for many! Gentry Pickett Wools, Dallas, and Pon- derossa Pine were Novice-Am Horsemanship Cir- cuit Champion and Level 2-Am-Trail Reserve Circuit Champion, and the duo finished qualifying for the World Show in Am-Horsemanship and Am-Trail! Gentry and Wranglers Cool Snip earned more Level-2 Am-Showmanship points, also! In their first show together, Brody Galyean, Purcell, OK, and Dressed To Party took circuit prizes for Novice-Youth-WP and Youth-WP- 13&U! Other circuit champions included Tatum Richie (L2-Trail-14-18/Nappin On The Range), Josh Briggs (Y-Breakaway-Roping, -Tie-Down- Roping, and -Cowhorse/ SV Whiskey Whiz), Robin Frid (Jr-Trail/No Question Im Lazy), Hay- ley Saul (Am Trail/Dreams About Zippo), David Archer (Jr-Western-Pleasure/UF Rockin The House), Gil Galyean (Sr-WP/Rewind And Repeat plus L2-Jr-WP/I Will Be A Good RV), Troy Compton (L2-Sr-W-Riding/Eye On The Ball).

Louisiana Stock HA hosted its third 2017
