NAfME-Collegiate Cristin Selle, Preident
A Welcome from Your New President
With the end of the spring semester in sight, I’d like to offer a warm welcome to all new members of the Missouri NAfME-C Officer’s Board. It is an immense honor to serve as the collegiate president for this upcoming year and I look forward to working with the other members of the Officer’s Board, as well as with MMEA leadership to ensure that this year’s in-service conference is both meaningful and educational for all in attendance.
Outside of MMEA, the Missouri NAfME-C Officer’s Board is focused on increasing communication among local chapters, and offering opportunities to all collegiate members to become involved in NAfME-C. Our board is committed to connecting with members from across the state and collaborating with other chapters in their regions.
NAfME-C is a product of the members it represents and, as such, can only improve through the hard work of its members and executive board. Moving forward this year, the Officer’s Board will look to chapter members for collaboration, participation, and support in our plans for this organization so that all collegiate members within the state of Missouri receive the highest benefit from belonging to a state-wide pre-professional organization that has the potential to develop quality music educators for years to come. All members bring unique experiences to NAfME-C and music education, but as a chapter we cannot benefit from the variety within our organization without active participation and communication. For these reasons, stay connected, get involved, and enjoy the offerings provided through NAfME-C.
