The Winter Las Vegas Market felt more positive than it has at recent markets—with showrooms visibly busy yet decidedly relaxed. Rather than launching huge never-before-seen innovations, many companies instead unveiled strategic up- dates to their existing offerings. As a whole, the focus of the Winter Market seemed to be on making bedding programs more saleable in to- day’s changing marketplace.


2017 Companies To Watch


Serta Simmons Bedding and Mattress Firm an- nounced a new five-year strategic partnership agreement. Starting this spring, SSB’s product presence will be expanded at Mattress Firm— with exclusive Serta and Beautyrest collections slated to launch in the near future. Additionally, the two industry heavy-weights have also an- nounced an unprecedented joint advertising investment of $100 million.
