VA Tech Develops Multi Zone: Master/Slave Environment Systems for Investment Casting


VA Technology has been responsible for the development


of digital Environment systems, to provide precise control of temperature and humidity conditions for the smart processing of ceramic shells. Significant performance breakthroughs came with the development of the 5-element parallel system compared with serial element systems, and now VA Tech has taken a step further with the development of Multi Zone systems, accomplishing multiple process Temp/Rh conditions utilizing a Master/Slave E system module arrangement. “We have now have

installed in 3 locations and a 4th system is underway final installation in mid 2017,” said Andy Hughes, Customer Support Director. The multi-zone Master/Slave systems can provide the ideal


solution in high energy efficient systems, and can offer significant cost benefits to the end user both in terms of initial equipment cost and ongoing operating costs.
