MARCH 2017

Wotcha March! Not the imperial march, thankfully, although that would be pretty exciting wouldn’t it, but just peaceful, non-Death-Star-building March, with all its “I went out without a coat!”, “Let’s drink 80 pints of Guinness down the bistrotheque because it’s what St Patrick would have wanted!” and “Oh crap, I forgot Mother’s Day!”. (NB Mother’s Day: 26th)

We’ve been out hoofing up info and entertainments for you like a crazed pig on truffles. Check our interviews with Te Hottest Band Right Now Glass Animals, stalwart rock soldiers New Model Army, Midnight Cowboy Jarrod Dickenson, the frankly terrifying Ghost, DJ god Mr Ting and electro trio White Lies.

Our movie buffs, and buff they certainly are, took a look at Paul Verhoeven’s controversial new flick Elle and what’s good that’s out on DVD this month. We tried some amazing Pan Asian delights at Ciscoe’s and had a nose not only round Norwich Market but also our very best and most intimate parks. You can even win a pair of tickets for you and your most favourite human to go to Reading or Leeds Festival and see Muse, Eminem, Korn and Kasabian.

Tere’s a bitchin’ tonne of fun to be had out and about on the streets in March – we’ll be hitting up De La Soul, John Shuttleworth, Frank Carter, Mammal Hands, Abigail’s Party, Free Fire and Nathan Fake amongst many others so catch our reviews at outlineonline.co.uk throughout the month.

So forget that coat (what coat?), dust off your shades, head out into the weak sunshine and see what this fine city can offer you. After all, Norwich, it’s what Caesar would suggest, had he not been totally assassinated to death this very month back in 44 BC – come, see, have it. Nice one.
