February Teatre Royal Norwich

March is definitely Mamma Mia month at Norwich Teatre Royal with the feel-good musical running right through to the 25th. Set on a Greek island paradise, it tells the story of a daughter’s quest to find the father that she never knew. Te month ends with the incredible actress Amanda Abbington, last seen in Sherlock, taking on the iconic role of Beverly in the 40th anniversary revival of Abigail’s Party. She is hostess at the drinks party from hell where the guests have their fair share of issues. Penned by the amazing Mike Leigh, this comedy takes you back to the 70’s from March 27th-April 1st. PS you have very beautiful lips.

14 March Songs For Te End Of Te World Te Garage

Part gig. Part play. Part apocalypse. Inspired by Philip K Dick’s post- apocalyptic novel Dr. Bloodmoney, Ziggy Stardust and 1950s rock’n’roll and set in a dystopian future, the bizarre English town of Ashley-Coombe and its inhabitants are steadily steamrolling towards catastrophe. And when the apocalypse finally arrives, astronaut Jim Walters is suspended in orbit, broadcasting his songs for the end of the world back to a silent Earth, where the few remaining survivors must fight for their future. Don’t miss this one.
