The historic church of the Parish of St Wilfrid’s in Kennington is benefitting from an added layer of protection in the form of Roofshield from A Proctor Group, which has long been recognised as one of the highest performing roofing membrane solutions,
providing a pitched roof underlay, which is both air and vapour permeable. Roofshield’s patented Spunbond Meltblown Spunbond structure allows high levels of airflow, in addition to the transport of moisture vapour, making the formation of condensation in the roof space virtually impossible.

Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt has blended historic grandeur with outstanding durability as part of a luxurious refurbishment project at the landmark hotel, Bovey Castle. The coating has been applied in shades from the Crown Trade Historic Colours Collection – combining authentic shades from the past within a high quality, super scrubbable formulation to support the hotel’s stunning decor and stringent cleaning regime. A multi-million-pound refurbishment of the public areas, spa and restaurants was completed in 2015. As part of its continuing investment, the hotel then embarked on the first phase of an extensive bedroom refurbishment programme, which was completed in April 2016. Twenty-six bedrooms located in the east wing of the hotel have been redeveloped to create 22 ensuite rooms of uncompromised quality, with the colour scheme designed to offer a subtle, restful style. The shades that were chosen are taken from the Palladian scheme – one of eight distinctive architectural and design styles from the Crown Trade Historic Colours Collection. The collection offers specifiers the ability to select authentic and accurate colours with confidence.

www.clos-o-mat.com Door closers help retain heritage
Powermatic controlled, concealed door closers from Samuel Heath & Sons are perfect for use in heritage and historic buildings where modern fire safety and convenience features need to be introduced, but where the retention of important, often historically significant, features and finishes is vital. Fitting neatly between the door and frame, Powermatic door closers are totally concealed when the door is closed, and particularly unobtrusive when the door is open, enabling the appearance of doors and interiors to be retained. They are also easy to install in new or retro-fit situations and are ideal where shaped door heads or floor conditions preclude other door closing devices. Designed and manufactured in the UK, Powermatic door closers are available in nine finishes, to complement most decorative requirements.
