Boost your career Boost Beauty Solutions is holding a one-day course in the Juliette Armand Skincare range at their Dublin office.
The course will include the theory and practical aspects of both the Skin Boosters and Elements range of products, where you will also get to feel all the products. Students will then receive a certificate. The next training days take place on 21st March, 4th April and 9th May.

Spring programmes The Waverley Academy has launched their new training programmes for the Spring semester 2016.
“The new courses enable therapists and hairdressers to cross train and meet the demands of modern day customers,” says Derek O Kelly, Principal. “All programmes are designed with flexibility in mind to fit around busy schedules and also include flexible payment options.”
Advanced training for salons and
hairdressers The Waverley Academy now provides tailored training solutions for salons and hairdressers including apprentices, juniors or experienced staff who want to learn advanced skills and trends for the hair and beauty industry.
Interested parties can discuss their training needs with the Academy who will work with you to provide a solution. They also offer ITEC diplomas in hairdressing, advanced hairdressing and cutting women’s hair.

Programmes include ITEC hairdressing (one day a week) including cutting, colouring, styling, blow drying and perming; or cutting women's hair can be studied as a stand-alone unit. Also on offer is the ever popular eyelash extensions (one day), advanced eyelash extensions (one day) and threading (one day) courses. “In addition, students also have access to a state of the art online learning system, excellent tuition and support outside of class hours,” Derek adds.

Light the way Designed for massage therapists who wish to offer something special to their clients, the post-graduate Wick Therapy course teaches you how to use the Wick Therapy decadent massage/treatment candles. When lit, the candles melt to form a sensuous massage medium enabling you to provide a luxury treatment.
The bespoke massage routine taught on this course has been developed by Odel Grant Kelly and is exclusive to IBHT Academy. Based on the massage techniques used in Odel’s famous Concept treatment, you will work all areas of the body including scalp and face. A full size professional body candle is also included, which provides enough to cover up to 15 full body rituals (depending on client).
This course is delivered in two stages: online theory training and assessment followed by a full day hands-on practical training that will allow you to focus on technique and routine.
