Postcards To Winnipeg, wit h love Italy
Dorothy McLeod recently travelled to Sicily and picked up a copy of The Hub at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. Noticing our postcard page she sent us a photo taken with the magazine at the Greek Theatre in Taormina, Sicily in October.
My deepest apologies to Salah Esmailzadeh who sent in his photo of the Milad Tower in Tehran, Iran. We mistakenly referred to it as the Milan Tower. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! The Milad Tower is a marvel standing at 435 metres from its base to the tip of the antenna. There are 12 floors in the large pod at the top of the tower which includes a five-star hotel and convention centre. Talk about a great view; it is the sixth-tallest tower in the world!
