The Knoxbridge, Frittenden has recently been transformed into a delightful wayside inn boasting a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere, a fine array of wines and seven real ale pumps, a charming dining area and an beautifully enclosed garden area. You can be sure of an extremely warm welcome from both Tony and Wendi and if you’re feeling hungry, an interestingly varied menu is available, all prepared by an experienced French Chef. Party bookings are available for groups or more intimate dining for Valentines Day.
The Chequers Inn at Laddingford is a beautiful 15th century inn situated in the heart of the English hopping countryside. It is one of the few remaining pubs to offer good quality, value for money food, including daily specials, and award winning real ales. awarded the Cask Marque Award for quality real ale and has a selection of good wines. Every Thursday is "Sausage Thursday" where there are a selection of 6 different sausages, to choose from as well as the usual menu available. Sundays also offer Sunday Roast throughout the day.
There is a lovely warming fire in the winter and a huge garden with childrens’ play equipment, Shetland ponies and guinea pigs. Seating is limited so it is always advisable to book when possible.
The Cock Inn, Boughton Monchelsea is close to Leeds Castle. The Greensand Way path is nearby and we welcome walkers en route. Dating back to 1568, there is a large inglenook fireplace with a blazing log fire. Offering a selection of well- kept real ales along with a choice collection of fine wines, this consistently high quality pub is well known for freshly prepared country cuisine. It is advisable to book for the restaurant.
