The best part about Frisbee to me is that it is a non-violent sport. It’s you and the disc. It is also a connec- tion to weather wind and earth. It is phys- ics, energy, skill and takes time to build personal style and ex- cellence. Fast moving and sometimes gliding with pinpoint accuracy it uses all of our senses with no batteries re- quired.
It is my recom- mendation you give Tom a call and see if frisbee is your
thing...It’s a Upbeat thing to me and re- minds me to get up from the computer and get outdoors to breathe fresh air!
Give Tom a call at 707-591-3044 as his classes fill quickly!
You’ll be glad you did! e-mail: Tom McRann •

Letters to the Upbeat Times
Hi Paul,
I was just writing to say thank you for putting our picture on the cover of November’s Up- beat Times! It was quite a shock. LOL! I was at Andy’s Market this afternoon(early Novem- ber) and was just about to leave when I spied a newspaper sitting on one of the tables.
As I got closer I saw that it was an Upbeat Times. “Oh good,”I thought to myself. “I can see if our picture is in it yet.” I figured it probably wasn’t, because it’s only been a few days since I sent it to you.
Then I saw the picture on the cover and almost dropped my bag! What a huge surprise! lol I couldn’t stop laughing. It was so nice of you to put our photo on the cover. I’m really glad you liked it.
enjoyed seeing it too. He got a big smile when I showed it to him. Anyway, I was having kind of a crappy day and I have to say it made my day. Thanks again! ~ Theresa Pisani
Alejandro really I headed over to grab it to read.
