WHAT’S GREAT ABOUT THE WINE CLUB
“When we purchased our holiday home in May, we were told about the recently formed Wine Club. It seemed like the perfect introduction to park life and a great way to make new friends.
Plus,
apart from enjoying drinking wine, we knew very little about it, so this seemed an ideal opportunity to join others and learn more. “Events are informal and friendly and Carly is an excellent host who educates us by preparing tasting notes and a quiz, with other members bringing cheeses and sausages to accompany the six wines on offer. “The chosen selection appeals to all
palettes, and through much discussion and even more tasting, we then decide which is that month’s best wine. And if you find a bottle you really like, they’re all available to buy. “One thing I really like is that it’s
encouraged us try wines we wouldn’t have considered before. Plus, our knowledge must be increasing as our quiz scores have been steadily improving month on month. “All in all, I really recommend The Wine
Club – it’s great fun, excellent value for money and a fabulous way to meet new people.”

To all you wonderful dog owners out there, can we please ask that you keep their lead on right up to your drive way. With cars moving round the park, I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a lot safer for everyone – especially your prized pooch!

“Attending The Wine Club at Yorkshire Dales has been an opportunity to meet new friends and sample a selection of specialist wines. I say ‘sample’ with tongue firmly in cheek, as Carly’s generous measures always make it a particularly enjoyable experience! “I think I speak for all The Wine Club
members when I say the first Saturday of the month is something to definitely look forward to. And, thanks to Carly’s hard work,
preparing the tasting sheets and planning the quizzes, we’ve also learnt quite a bit about wine. “The joining cost is £15.00 per person for
five sessions. And with an added Christmas event planned, which I’m really looking forward to, that works out at less than £3.00 per session. This makes it excellent value for money and means my other half and I will definitely be back in 2017!”
