Facilities Manager’s Update:

W

elcome to the winter edition of ‘At your Leisure’. I’m Matty, your new Leisure Facilities

Manager here at Amble Leisure. Proud to replace David, who I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside for a good few years now, after first joining the team in 2006 as a casual lifeguard. A decade later and with some very

big shoes to fill, I’m sure you’ll join me in thanking David for all his hard work over the last four years and wish him all the very best in his new position, as our company’s health and safety trainer. So far in 2016, a particular highlight

for me has been seeing just how much our owners enjoy the various activities we provide on and off park for our owners during the school holidays. This is our second year running these

activities and I can safely say it’s been another big success! Building on this, I’m looking forward to planning what’s to come in 2017. And if you have ideas or suggestions of what else we could offer here at Amble Leisure, please feel free to pop into the Leisure Centre and share them. Finally, on behalf of all the team, let me wish you an amazing autumn and winter season.

Best regards,

Matty Stanley Leisure Facilities Manager

Spurred on by our Director’s triathlon success the Amble Links team decided to tackle one of their own, albeit over slightly shorter distances! Keen to help raise funds for Walking With The Wounded, lots of the Amble team wanted to be involved, with many taking part in the race.
