Designer’s products into three top Conran stores

service times CHRISTINGLE services have be- come a highlight of the festive sea- son and are held at churches and schools throughout Maidstone in aid of the Children’s Society. The tradition was introduced to Britain more than 40 years ago from Moravia. During the service, children are given an orange, deco- rated with a candle and sweets, and donations are made to the charity. Christingle services include:

BEARSTED-based designer Daniel Savage has described him- self as “beyond thrilled” after se- curing orders from one of the country’s trendiest chain of stores. Mr Savage’s company produces


a new homeware brand which has been selected to go on sale at three of Sir Terence Conran’s flagship stores. Just six months after launching, Daniel’s neon-edged Flash Tidy stationery trays are on sale at The Conran Shop in Paris, Chelsea and Marylebone. Daniel (34) said: “I’m beyond thrilled. If you’d have asked me be- fore this who I regarded as the most important British designers, Sir Terence Conran would have been top of the list. “And now I’ve seen my brand
