Try a pre-Christmas seasonal slim-down

Christmas will be arriving early to the Slimming World groups when members embark on a seasonal slim-down.

Slimming World members will be

setting out to achieve their weight-loss goals in time for Christmas and New Year. Our festive challenge is part of Slimming World’s Love…a Slimming World Christmas campaign, which is aiming to help members of our 13,000 groups across the UK and Ireland enjoy their greatest Christmas ever and give themselves the best Christmas present — a chance to feel happier and healthier.

Slimming World’s healthy eating plan,

Food Optimising, is based on the science of satiety and energy density. Our phased activity programme, Body Magic, eases members into activity until it becomes an intrinsic part of their daily routine. The principles behind Slimming World’s philosophy are based on a deep understanding of the challenges faced

Miss Slinky 2015, Zoë Jones (pictured right), from the Church Village group in Mid Glamorgan, has lost a sensational 5st 12lbs. David Eyres (pictured right), our Mr Sleek 2015 from the Waterhead group in Lancashire has lost an amazing 4st 7lbs.

by overweight people and a recognition that those who struggle with weight carry a double burden, the weight itself and a burden of guilt and shame about their weight.

Every year the Slimming World groups

crown their very own Miss Slinky and Mr Sleek as part of two national competitions, which both aim to recognise those members who have transformed themselves inside and out by becoming healthier, slimmer and more confident, as well as looking great in their party clothes.
