turns family treasures into silver keepsakes, with scaled impressions of loved ones, finger and footprints and the paws of pets. A believer in Kent’s growing craft
industry, the name Two Green Lane was her gran’s address. Laura says: “She inspired me to follow my dreams and be brave and bold. Since setting up Two Green Lane I haven’t looked back. Every day is different and I feel blessed to be doing something I have such a passion for.

Rosanna Clare
Rosanna Clare Gethin has opened a business that satisfies her passion for both handicrafts and handbags!
A former Rochester Grammar School
student, she quit her job as a design technology teacher in 2015 to create her own contemporary range of handbags and purses. “I’m a girl, I love bags, what can I say,” she says. Creative cookies
Thomas Redgrove (centre) and his team from Maidstone are now supplying one of the world’s most luxurious department stores with their award- winning cookies.

The team is stepping up production to meet local demand and a 2,000-a-week order from the London store in the run- up to Christmas.

Street, near Gravesend, to give her business the best start. She recalls: “I told myself ‘it’s now or
never’, after dabbling with the idea, and while it’s hard, I have no regrets.” A great believer in small is best, she makes the most of her bespoke operation to upcycle, and adds: “I can use all the leather offcuts that the bigger producers simply waste.”
