Minnis Bay, Birchington A secluded sandy bay with separate areas for swimming and watersports. Popular for windsurfing and kite surfing. Served by an open-top bus in summer. Bow-Wow friendly beaches
Dogs are banned from Blue Flag beaches from 10am-6pm from May 1 to September 30 (except Tankerton) and at Leysdown all year round. Dog-friendly beaches — with no restrictions — can be found in Kent at:
