In fact, the rise of the metrosexual male may well lead to the start of the bathroom wars. No longer is that room the domain of the lady of the house and her many lotions and potions. Men are now regular purchasers of a range of hair and grooming products. Deborah puts this down to the advent of a new generation of men’s magazines. “They have definitely helped as they all carry grooming editorial and tips and tricks,” she says. “There is far more product available on the market that is specifically targeted towards men and I think that there is no longer a stigma attached to men wanting to look as good as they can achieve.
