trucks to the brothers, and he still does at the age of 86. Te brothers also began buying company trucks and hiring owner-operators. Today, the company has about 300 trucks, mostly company-owned, but Al would like to see more owner-operators. It primarily hauls frozen, fresh, dry and retail goods in truckload quantities. Te company has had many service awards from numerous shippers. Te heart of the company’s business is between Omaha, Denver and Chicago and south to Texas, but one division runs into Atlanta while a special division hauls pork and red meat to California for export to Japan and China. Maintenance is all done at the company headquarters and outsourced to dealer vendors.
