It’s reminiscent of problems Paul dealt with in the early Church, leading him to write letters of the New Testament which refuted false teachings being spread to new believers in the faith.


We cannot leave the lambs to roaring lions seeking to devour, any more than Joseph and Mary could leave the child Jesus to the “providence of God.” God called Joseph and Mary to act and be the providence of God in the life of the Christ Child. And as mature believers in Christ, we are called to be the providence of God in the lives of today’s babes


in Christ.
