SPONSORING A CHILD IS SAVING A LIFE: In developing nations, one child dies every six seconds for the lack of a few cents’ worth of food and medicine. Since beginning our work, WME has been in- volved in saving children who live on the thin line between life and death. There are many children who need a sponsor right now. The cost is $25 per month, which helps provide a child with food, clothing, medical care, and in some cases, a home with twenty-four hour supervision. While a small amount, this gift can save one precious life hanging in the balance today.

SEND WINTER BOOTS TO CHILDREN, WIDOWS, ELDERLY OR MISSIONARY FAMILIES IN EASTERN EUROPE: In Eastern Europe, we are involved in an Annual Shoe Project. In Moldova, there is a Christian shoe manufacturer who provides winter boots and shoes at minimal cost. These good quality shoes and boots are made to withstand long, harsh winters. Our WME Ministry Partner supplies these shoes to children in state-run homes, elderly in area homes, the poor and national missionary families. With a gift of $30, you can bless someone in Eastern Europe with a warm pair of winter shoes.


SOMETIMES, IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS... GIVE UNDERWEAR, SOCKS, TOWELS OR BEDDING TO A CHILD:New underwear and socks may seem like a small item to many. But for poor families with many children or for care- givers looking after dozens at a Children’s Home, those little items are a major concern. And for Children’s Homes that we support, you can’t imagine how appreciative they are of additional towels and bedding for the many children living there. With a gift of just $5 to $10, you can send items like new underwear, socks, towels and bedding to children in need.
