Middle School Work Camp


Middle School Work Campers traveled to Monroe County, Pennsylvania, in mid-July to serve for three days in that community. Seven youth and five adults worked in four unique environments. Ask the team about their furry friends at AWSOM (Animal Welfare Society of Monroe County) shelter and the tons of rocks they shoveled at Kirkridge Retreat Center! Talk with them about what they learned about homelessness while sorting clothes at Street to Feet Ministry. Musical Bingo with the residents of Pleasant Valley Manor put a song in all of our hearts! Who would have thought that New Life in Christ Ministries would have so many crackers to distribute at their food bank? Seeing God’s glory in the night sky … priceless.
