The Pittsburgh Project


At the end of June, 24 high-school youth and eight adult leaders traveled to Pittsburgh to offer five full days of service through The Pittsburgh Project to qualified homeowners. Teaming with youth from other churches, we sanded and painted, put down flooring and put up ceilings, installed cabinets and railings, and repaired roofs (to name just a few!). With each family we served, we saw the face and the grace of God in the stories and faith they shared, the love and gratitude they offered, and the joy and laughter we experienced together. Blessings were bountiful!
