Competing with some of the best drivers and sharing stories brought Stroup back for his second year at the Championships. Richey Corporation: Tis was Ward’s first year competing; he’s been a driver for 2 ½ years and has accumulated more than 71,000 miles. Te drive to better himself, the challenge of the competition and learning experiences are what will keep him involved in the industry.


Also held during the championships


was the Nebraska State Patrol Inspector Championships. It consisted of a personal interview, a table top exercise and various hands-on inspections. Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Benjamin Schropfer received first place. Schropfer is stationed in Omaha and is assigned to the Carrier Enforcement Division. Schropfer will represent Nebraska in the North American Inspector Championships held in conjunction with ATA National Truck Driving Championships in Indianapolis. NT
