FESTIVAL Aug. 19 to 20 Burton Cummings Theatre The fourth annual Winnipeg BBQ & Blues Festival will take over Smith Street in front of the Burton Cummings Theatre on Aug. 19 and 20 and will feature the best in international, national and local blues performers along with the “Pit Masters” barbeque competition, food and beverage garden, and retail vendors.

The market is open Fridays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every weekend all summer long and well into the fall. With spots for 125 vendors it is a major attrac- tion for the north and east end of the city. They also have some seriously fun plans to wrap things up in the fall that you won’t want to miss!
