Sister Act Moonlight Stage Productions is singing praises in 2016 and
they’ve hired Delores Van Cartier and her “Sisters” to put on the first show in their 36th season! Here’s a primer: Lounge singer Delores witnesses a murder and is placed in protective custody in a place cops are certain she won’t be found—a convent—dis- guised as a nun! Bristling against the rigid lifestyle and at odds with an uptight Mother Superior, Van Cartier uses her fabulous lounge skills and killer voice to inspire the nun’s chorus, breath- ing new life into the church.“Sister Act is the perfect opener,” said Steven Glaudini, producing artistic director. “The show is filled with laugh-out-loud-comedy, fun choreography and a story that’ll move you.”Sister Act runs fromWednesday, June 15 through Saturday, July 2 at the Moonlight Amphitheatre, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive in Vista.
